Electrical Design Engineer

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical (and Electronics) Engineering,
  
• More than 3 years of work experience in HV (high voltage) and MV (medium voltage) systems including interface and interlocks between each other and other systems,
  
• Good knowledge of electrical circuit interpretation and HV primary equipment design and selection. Preferably experienced in HV/MV switchgear control, protection and metering.
  
• Familiar with Grid Codes
  
• Good command of written and spoken English,
  
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs and AutoCAD,
  
• Strong communication skills, team worker,
  
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self -motivated, positive and energetic,
  
• Ability to work with other engineering discipline teams,
  
• No restriction to travel / stay abroad,
  

Requirements

• Carrying out HV and MV systems design works as per the project contract requirements (or National Grid Code) and procedures.
  
• Preparing of design deliverables including the design basis, secondary system (control and protection equipment and wiring), primary system (main equipment), signal interface list, communication protocols.
  
• Specifying the equipment, system and preparing the material requisitions and technical specifications.
  
• Exchanging the information with the other engineering disciplines and co -coordinating the works together.
  
• Reviewing and approving the Vendor produced documents.
  
• Performing FAT's as required.
  
• Checking and approving As -Built documents
  
• Construction and pre -commissioning supervision / site -support activities in case needed.
