Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the complete electrical design and engineering documentation for industrial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in electrical system design, engineering calculations, equipment sizing, drafting, and stakeholder coordination. This role involves working closely with project teams, vendors, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical engineering deliverables including:
  
  
  
  • Overall Key Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
    
  
  
  • Auxiliary AC/DC Single Line Diagrams
    
  
  
  • Protection Single Line Diagrams
    
  
  


• Perform electrical design calculations for:
  
  
  
  • Power, Distribution, and Converter Transformer Sizing
    
  
  
  • Battery, UPS, DG, and VFD Sizing
    
  
  
  • Earthing System Design
    
  
  
  • Cable Sizing
    
  
  
  • Cable Tray Design
    
  
  
  • Lighting Design
    
  
  
  • Lightning Protection Systems
    
  
  


• Develop detailed schematics for:

• Prepare Block Logic Diagrams (BLD) for MV and LV switchgear systems.

  • Bus Ducts
    
  
  
  • MV/LV Switchgear (AIS/GIS)
    
  
  
  • Batteries and UPS Systems

  • Cables and Cable Trays

• Create detailed engineering layouts including:
  
  
  
  • Equipment Layouts
    
  
  
  • Section Views
    
  
  
  • Earthing Layouts
    
  
  
  • Cable Tray Layouts
    
  
  
  • Bus Duct Layouts
    
  
  
  • Lighting Layouts
    
  
  


• Prepare cable schedules and termination schedules.
  


• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities for electrical equipment.
  


• Maintain engineering schedules and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  


• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  


• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
  


• Support project execution activities and provide technical assistance during project lifecycle stages.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  


• 3–7 years of experience in electrical design and engineering for industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
