Electrical Design Engineer -Substation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 1 -4years specialized in design, development, and implementation for Substation design. The ideal candidate involves themselves in creating detailed design plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

You are expected to do:

· Manage the complete lifecycle of Substation Design with minimal supervision. This includes project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

· Develop detailed Electrical Designs for Substation, including Sizing Calculation, control & protection schemes, Component/Equipment selection, substation layout drawings etc. Conduct system modelling and simulations to validate design choices.

· Provide expert -level technical support and troubleshooting for complex electrical issues during design, installation, and operational phases.

· Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ANSI/IEEE, NEC, UL,IEC). Implement safety measures and conduct risk assessments.

· Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including specifications, reports and user manuals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
