The company provides infrastructure services and is involved in the construction of infrastructure projects such as viaducts, flyovers, metros, bridges, pipelines, roads, ports, barrages, oil and gas projects etc

Roles and Responsibilities 01

Execution Management : 

• Ensure seamless execution of Electrical related offshore activities by coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring the work is done according as per project specifications/ documents/ Standards and best engineering practices to meet Project objectives of HSSE, Quality, Time, and Budget.


• Identify and resolve as necessary interface issues between contractors at site.


• Drive the sub-contractor’s execution team to achieve the project progress and quality control of offshore construction activities within the estimated budget, resources, and scheduled time frame with Safety.


• Provide regular feedback to the reporting manager on progress, achievements, safety, and quality related issues. • Ensure that the standard of workmanship and the materials/equipment is compliant with the specifications and that specified inspections and tests are conducted and records maintained to substantiate conformance.


• Support QA-QC team for maintaining quality assurance and quality control documentation in-house or by subcontractors.


• Liaise with the organisations purchasing department for piping material related requirements.


• Ensure subcontractor submission of construction job procedure / method statement, schemes for safe and smooth progress of offshore work.

Roles and Responsibilities 02

Execution Management : 

• Coordination with the Engineering office for updates/release of drawings to drive construction, site query instruction, etc. to ensure that all project requirements are met and carried out accordingly.


• Ensure stage wise all offshore piping work quality controls as per codes, standard and project specification to avoid any rework.


• Dedication towards HSSE and Quality.


• Conducting weekly/ fortnightly HSSE and QAQC walkthroughs with respective Leads for complete alignment of every stake holder on project objectives.


• Participation in the daily/ mass toolbox talks actively.


• Ensuring availability of required resources all the time.


• Preparation of Job safety hazard report for offshore work.


• Having good knowledge of working in brown field site conditions.


• Resolve technical issues during execution of project work.

Roles and Responsibilities 03

Relationship skills

• Ensure regular interactions and cordial relations with clients and client representatives.


• Ensure regular interactions with vendors/ Subcontractors.

Safety Awareness

• Monitor safety during execution of project adhering to the norms of the clients & HSE policy to ensure zero incident/accident.


• Emphasis on Safety workshop, Safety Drills, Safety Awareness.

Education Qualifications

Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

 

Experience Range

10 to 20 Years of experience in Projects involving Offshore Construction Management

Work Environment

May have to work long hours, including evenings and weekends. Work in all rough climatic conditions at Sea. Working at outdoors at Offshore construction sites so that they can monitor operations and solve problems May need to work extra hours to ensure that the projects meet their deadlines. May need to travel to work sites at domestic or overseas location. Deal & convince all types of people including labour & clients. Maintain a high-level Safety standard at work site as Offshore Construction work is risk prone.
