Position Overview:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of all electrical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs on motors, control systems, transformers, generators, and other electrical equipment.
• Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Update maintenance logs and prepare reports as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving electrical maintenance processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of electrical spare parts and supplies. Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and work to resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma with 1 to 3 years of experience in Preventive maintenance and Break Maintenance. PLC, motors, & circuit drawing knowledge are required.
• Experience: A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and power distribution.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and components.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Electrical Safety Certification) are a plus.

Working Conditions

• The role may require working in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and exposure to electrical hazards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
