Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Package Management: Lead and manage the full electrical package, covering both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems. Ensure all work is completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
• Health & Safety Adherence: Champion health and safety standards on site, ensuring all electrical works comply with relevant regulations and best practices. 
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other project teams, including mechanical, structural, and civil engineering, to ensure seamless integration of all systems. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression.
• Project Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the senior management team, outlining project progress, potential risks, and mitigation strategies. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
• Compliance and Value Addition: Ensure full compliance of  design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes. Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve buildability.
• Project Controls: Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensure full implementation and compliance. Understand, develop, scrutinize, deliver, and monitor end-to-end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.
• Document Management: Support to Implement and manage an electronic documentation management system to support collaborative processes and document management during design, construction, and handover.
• Design Development: Responsible for leading and managing the design and development of electrical systems and components. Oversee all aspects of the electrical design process, from conceptualization to final implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role involves both technical expertise and project management skills, leading teams of engineers, coordinate with other disciplines, and manage budgets and timelines. Coordinate design process with client team, to make sure specification and requirements are met. 
• Commissioning: Responsible for managing and overseeing the electrical aspects of a project's commissioning process. This includes ensuring all electrical systems are installed, tested, and operating safely and efficiently, adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Work closely with various teams, including other engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure successful commissioning. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Extensive experience in electrical project management within the data centre sector or industrial construction with transferable skills.
• Proven expertise in managing HV, MV and LV systems, with a deep understanding of the challenges and requirements of large-scale electrical installations.
• A degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and engage effectively with all stakeholders.
• A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry, particularly in relation to electrical systems.
• Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team medium to large scale data centre MEP contract.
• Experience and knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of the specific package management.
• Line management experience including people development.
• Have used appropriate project controls to oversee successful major project delivery.
• Strong understanding and experience of the type of work carried out in the data centre market.
