We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Purchase Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and purchasing within the electrical or engineering industry. The role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electrical materials, components, and equipment to support ongoing projects and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, knowledge of electrical products and specifications, and the ability to ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices.

The Electrical Purchase Executive will work closely with the project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure procurement processes are aligned with organizational requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning: Identify purchasing requirements based on project and operational needs, ensuring timely availability of electrical equipment and components.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of electrical goods.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Source materials from reliable vendors and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
• Material Knowledge: Evaluate specifications, technical drawings, and requirements to ensure the right products are procured in line with engineering needs.
• Purchase Orders: Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with warehouse and project teams to track inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure procured items meet required standards and specifications by collaborating with quality control and engineering teams.
• Budget Adherence: Monitor and control procurement expenses, aligning with project budgets and company financial objectives.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and vendor communications for audit and compliance purposes.
• Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, new product developments, and alternative suppliers to optimize procurement strategies.
• Issue Resolution: Handle supplier disputes, delays, or quality-related issues in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
• Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to streamline the procurement cycle and ensure smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the electrical or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Procurement software.
• Ability to analyze quotations, contracts, and technical requirements effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle procurement challenges independently.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, cost analysis, and contract management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
