Electronics Design Engineer

What you’ll do:

The Design Engineer will primarily work as part of the product development team providing the electronics design for different vertical product lines. This person will have experience of designing product using calculations or simulations to predict performance. This person will also work with cross functional team to measure and test the performance of designs. Launch the product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

•    Design Industrial Electronic products for applications in Process Industries and Industrial loops.
•    Develop compatible with mechanical parts of the system.
•    Working with layout resources, design reviews with Global design leaders.
•    Understanding of standards BS EN, UL, BASEEFA, ATEX added value.
•    Bring in best practice from other parts of the company and from outside the company to avoid unnecessary learning cycles. 
•    Work cross functional team -Mechanical, Marketing, Procurement, NPI 
•    Familiar with design calculation, documentation for board bring-up.
•    Power, Micro controller / processor and linear circuits like OPAMP based design and testing is required
 

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor of Engineering- Electronics (& Communication or Electrical).
•    Overall working experience of 3 - 5 years
•    Relevant - Core domain experience of 3 to 5 years
 

Skills:

•    Possesses strong skills in Analog and Digital electronics. 
•    Analyze design with SPICE simulation and calculation.
•    Having writing skill to prepare test report and documentation.
•    Exposure in Component Engineering.
•    Good understanding of EMI/EMC and their impact on hardware is mandatory.
•    Testing skills to meet functional and environmental requirement.
•    Capable to redesign and start from scratch to deliver quality product to Market.
•    Good communication skills.
•    Good interpersonal skills.
