Embedded C++ developer

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Developer with strong expertise in Embedded C++ development to join our engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining embedded real-time applications in a Linux environment, with proficiency in C++14/C++17, embedded systems, unit testing, debugging, and secure coding practices. This role involves designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing embedded software while ensuring cybersecurity compliance and delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software applications using C++14/C++17.
  


• Develop and enhance Linux-based embedded real-time applications.
  


• Design and implement robust embedded system solutions with a focus on reliability and performance.
  


• Perform unit testing and ensure high software quality through comprehensive test coverage.
  


• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects efficiently.
  


• Follow secure coding standards and ensure compliance with cybersecurity guidelines.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.
  


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  


• Utilize Visual Studio for software development, debugging, and code analysis.
  


• Work with Azure DevOps for source control, build management, and development lifecycle activities.
  


• Optimize software performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  


• Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.
  

Key Skills and Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
  


• 4–8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
  


• Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C++ (C++14/C++17).
  


• Experience in Linux-based embedded real-time application development.
  


• Solid understanding of Embedded Systems Architecture and software design principles.
  


• Experience in unit testing, debugging, and software defect analysis.
  


• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
  


• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
  


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  


• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment.
