## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Systems Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nJob Summary: \n\n * 4-8 years of experience in Emulation of complex Qualcomm propriety DSP IP\n\n * DSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores which are at the heart of Qualcomm\u0027s multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for mobile space\n\n\n\n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n\\- Work in emulation and silicon environments \n\\- Prior experience with Emulation Platforms (FPGA Prototyping, Veloce, Palladium) \n\\- Familiarity with emulation tools (Synthesis, Place and Route, Constraints, Clocking) and System Debug (Waveform generation and Content Debug support) \n\\- Understand processor functionality (CPU/DSP Core)\n\n\\- Excellent debugging abilities to resolve complex issues \n\\- Validation and debugging of digital circuits \n\\- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and TCL\n\nSkillset/Experience: \n\n * 6-10 years of experience in processor/ASIC performance verification\n\n\n\n * Experience in micro-architecture validation for modern high-performance, low power processors\n\n * Experience in writing tests and building infrastructure that tests performance of modern processors\n\n * Experience in application performance analysis\n\n * Programming/Scripting Skills \u2014 C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, Make file TCI\n\n\n\n * Solid background and understanding of Digital Design, RTL design, improving model performance and Processor Architecture\n\n * Strong troubleshooting, analytical and debug skills\n\n\n\n * Prior experience is performance correlation of Processor subsystems (ARM/DSP) is preferred\n\n * Should have excellent inter-personal, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
