Engineer

• Supervise erection and installation of transformers, electrical panels, and associated equipment at site.
• Carry out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment.
• Verify field inputs, interlocks, and signal wiring in coordination with PLC control systems.
• Conduct no-load and load trials to ensure proper functioning of electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with project, mechanical, and automation teams during commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures during installation and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults during erection and commissioning stages.
• Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Support handover of commissioned systems to operations team.

Required Skills

• Electrical erection and commissioning knowledge
• PLC input/output and interlock verification
• Transformer and panel installation supervision
• Electrical troubleshooting and testing
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Mining and Material Handling Equipment such as:
  • Stacker
  • Reclaimer
  • Bucket Wheel Excavator (BWE)
  • Conveyor systems
• Experience working on large industrial or plant projects is an advantage.
