Job Title: Engineer - Electrical Maintenance (Steel Foundry)

Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a reputed steel foundry equipped with Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) of 5 MT & 15 MT, Induction Arc Furnace (IAF) of 3 MT, and EOT Cranes ranging from 3 MT to 50 MT. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in electrical systems, automation, and maintenance within a foundry environment. This role ensures efficient operation, troubleshooting, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical maintenance of EAF, IAF, and EOT cranes
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AAR M-1003
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in high-pressure molding lines (HPML), induction furnaces, and arc furnaces
• Optimize PLC, SCADA, and automation systems for foundry operations
• Maintain electrical safety standards and documentation
• Collaborate with vendors for spare parts and system upgrades

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in steel foundry electrical maintenance
• Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA, and automation
• Knowledge of high-voltage systems, transformers, and switchgear
• Familiarity with energy efficiency and power distribution

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with induction furnaces, arc furnaces, and high-pressure molding lines
• Understanding of predictive maintenance techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
