Engineer - Irrigation

Job Summary

We are looking for an Engineer – Irrigation with 1–5 years of relevant experience in irrigation system design and project delivery. The candidate will support the preparation and delivery of irrigation projects, with a focus on automatic irrigation systems, secondary and tertiary irrigation networks, technical analysis, design, and development of project components.

Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)

• Support irrigation project preparation, design, technical analysis, and calculations.


• Design automatic irrigation systems including drip, bubbler, sprinkler, and mainline systems.


• Prepare secondary and tertiary irrigation system designs.


• Support project delivery from concept design through Tender and Construction stages.


• Prepare irrigation layouts, technical details, calculations, and project documentation.


• Perform flow and hydraulic calculations for irrigation systems.


• Apply knowledge of water requirements for lawns, palms, trees, shrubs, ground covers, and seasonal plants.


• Provide technical support to project teams and coordinate with other disciplines..

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil or Structural, or Water Engineering


• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes


• Good communication skills


• Good interpersonal skills

Skillset

• Experience in flow calculations and hydraulic calculations.


• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and WaterGEMS.


• Experience working on international or Middle East landscape/irrigation projects will be an advantage.


• Familiarity with relevant irrigation design standards, specifications, and project documentation.
