Job Title: Engineer - Quality Assurance (Steel Foundry)

Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for a reputed steel foundry. The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering and 2-3 years of experience in bogie frame manufacturing and machining. This role ensures compliance with international quality standards and optimizes foundry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality assurance in steel casting and machining
• Conduct inspections and testing of bogie frames and machined components
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and AAR M-1003
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for defects
• Maintain QA documentation and reports
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material quality

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in steel foundry quality assurance
• Expertise in bogie frame manufacturing and machining
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
• Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection techniques

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-pressure molding lines (HPML).
• Understanding of weldable CMS crossings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
