## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nJob Title\n\nStaff Engineer \u2013 Product Engineering (Secure Systems Group \u2013 SSG)\n\nOverview\n\nThe Secure Systems Group (SSG) Product Engineering team is responsible for leading secure chipset bring\u2011up and execution across the full lifecycle \u2014 from Pre\u2011Silicon enablement through commercialization. The team plays a critical role in driving end\u2011to\u2011end security readiness, system\u2011level integration, and execution excellence across complex SoC programs.\n\nAs a Staff\u2011level engineer, you will operate as a technical owner and execution leader, driving cross\u2011functional alignment, managing ambiguity in early programs, and ensuring high\u2011quality, on\u2011time delivery of security features and system stability. You will also contribute to defining and improving processes, frameworks, and execution models that scale across multiple chipsets and programs.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Leadership \u0026 Execution\n\n * Lead secure chipset bring\u2011up activities from Pre\u2011Silicon to Post\u2011Silicon and commercialization phases.\n * Own and drive system\u2011level security execution, including bring\u2011up readiness, feature enablement, and stability.\n * Handle high ambiguity, exploratory, and multi\u2011domain problems, providing clarity and technical direction.\n * Provide strong technical ownership for assigned modules with minimal oversight.\n * Analyze product requirements, identify impacted areas, derive technical requirements, and produce robust designs.\n\n\n\nSoftware Development \u0026 Debug\n\n * Hands\u2011on development in C (and Assembly as required) for embedded platforms on ARM / RISC\u2011V processors.\n * Strong experience with SMC call flows, secure monitor interactions, and system\u2011level boot paths.\n * Debug complex system\u2011level issues using ARM Trace32, JTAG, and other low\u2011level debug tools.\n * Drive root\u2011cause analysis for cross\u2011image issues spanning TZ, Boot, AOP, TME, HLOS, and RTOS.\n\n\n\nCross\u2011Functional Collaboration\n\n * Independently represent SSG Products in discussions with internal technology teams, program teams, and external partners.\n * Collaborate effectively across security, platform, firmware, OS, and validation teams to ensure quality deliverables.\n * Act as a technical escalation point for complex product and execution issues.\n\n\n\nProcess \u0026 Quality Ownership\n\n * Ensure timeliness, quality, and completeness of own deliverables and provide technical guidance to the broader team.\n * Drive improvements in execution efficiency, readiness metrics, and bring\u2011up processes across programs.\n * Keep up to date with industry trends, security standards, and emerging technologies relevant to secure systems.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.\n * 8+ years of experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems.\n * Strong proficiency in C programming (Assembly knowledge is a plus).\n * Solid understanding of:\n * Embedded hardware and computer architecture\n * Operating system fundamentals (tasks, signals, timers, scheduling, deadlocks, stacks)\n * RTOS concepts: multi\u2011threading, interrupts, cache/memory management\n * Experience with version control and build systems (Git / Perforce, Makefiles, SCons).\n * Experience with low\u2011level debug tools such as JTAG and ARM Trace32.\n * Proven ability to independently lead and drive software development activities across teams.\n * Experience managing the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, validation, and release.\n * Strong communication skills and ability to work across geographies and cultures.\n\n\n\nPreferred / Domain\u2011Specific Expertise\n\nExperience in product security for embedded devices, including some or all of the following:\n\n * Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)\n * ARM TrustZone and secure monitor architecture\n * Secure boot, device integrity, and authentication\n * Public Key Cryptography and secure provisioning\n * Hardware access control and secure debug\n * OS\u2011level secure use cases and system hardening\n * Protected virtualization and virtualization security\n * Embedded / real\u2011time OS security\n * Vulnerability analysis and mitigation techniques\n * Linux device driver development\n * System\u2011level debugging using ARM Trace32\n * Experience working on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets (preferred, not mandatory)\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\nPreferred / Domain\u2011Specific Expertise\n\nExperience in product security for embedded devices, including some or all of the following:\n\n * Trusted Execution Environments (TEE)\n * ARM TrustZone and secure monitor architecture\n * Secure boot, device integrity, and authentication\n * Public Key Cryptography and secure
