Your focus will be on the design and implementation of audio solutions on snapdragon platforms. You will help architect and optimize the audio solutions for deployment on next-generation Snapdragon platforms across mobile, XR, compute, IoT, and automotive markets.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\\- Design and develop end-to-end software for audio solutions\n\n\\- Create, prototype, and commercialize innovative audio solutions using both traditional signal processing and ML frameworks.\n\n\\- Analyze and validate performance of audio subsystems to meet strict metrics for robustness, power, and stability on Qualcomm platforms.\n\n\\- Implement, test, and troubleshoot fixed-point and floating-point algorithms, including ML-based audio features.\n\n-Develop, optimize, and deploy audio ML models for audio applications, with a focus on inference efficiency across NPUs, GPUs, and CPUs.\n\n\\- Perform model evaluation, quantization, and compression to enable fast, robust inference on embedded hardware.\n\n\\- Collaborate with cross-functional R\u0026D, systems, and integration teams for system use case verification and commercialization support.\n\n\\- Perform System level performance testing and measurements, lead demo prototyping efforts.\n\n\\- Work closely with internal engineering teams and customers to drive successful commercialization of audio technologies.\n\n\\- Support diversity and inclusion within Qualcomm and exhibit adaptability in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.\n\nRequirements\n\n\\- Solid background in Audio software, DSP and Android audio framework fundamentals.\n\n\\- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and debugging audio solutions on ARM, DSP or any other embedded platforms\n\n\\- Strong programming skills in Embedded C/C++.\n\n\\- Experience with embedded platforms, DSP architectures, real-time operating systems, and software design patterns.\n\n\\- Experience working on Android audio architecture or any other Audio Framework on HLOS.\n\n\\- Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional teamwork skills.\n\n\\- Quick learner, self-motivated, and capable of working independently across geographically dispersed teams.\n\nEducational Qualifications\n\n\\- Master\u2019s or PhD degree in Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nPreferred Qualification:\n\n * Familiarity with Qualcomm Audio framework\n * Familiarity with Qualcomm SDKs and tools.\n\n\n\nKeywords\n\nAudio framework, Andriod Audio framework, Hexagon, Audio feature development.\n\n\n\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
