The All In Media team at Xperi provides solutions to radio stations across the world. These include broadcast systems, mobile apps, integrations with Sonos, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and digital ad monetization solutions. Our studio broadcast system, Rapid, has recently won the NAB Product of the Year award, and is used to by hundreds of radio stations across the world. We have released over 500 apps, and dominate the UK, Irish & Australian markets.

We work with several major radio groups across the world, including the ABC, BBC, Bauer, Global Radio, Cumulus, MediaCo, New York Public Radio, Nova Entertainment, and SBS.

About the role: 

Join our talented team in Bangalore, India, helping radio customers grow their audiences through innovative products and new platforms. 

As an iOS Developer, you will be involved in building award-winning iOS products used by radio audiences worldwide, working across Swift, SwiftUI, audio streaming and connected platforms. You will contribute across product development, shared framework capabilities, quality assurance, and technical problem-solving within a collaborative international team. 

You will combine delivery, stakeholder communication, customer engagement and continuous improvement to help teams deliver effectively at scale. The role also includes building repeatable processes, improving reporting and documentation, and using modern tools, automation and AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency across the organisation.

What you will get to do:

• Design and develop stand-alone iOS apps.
• Design and develop the All In Media mobile framework, a native platform for speeding up the development of applications in the radio industry. This includes the app-side elements of the framework, as well as input into the support infrastructure that sits around this.
• Assisting with application testing, fault finding, and application builds.
• Brain-storming ideas with the rest of the team, and prototyping new ideas to ensure we (and our customers) can stay ahead of the competition.

Who we are looking for:

Must have:

• Strong iOS development skills with Swift and SwiftUI, demonstrated through the delivery and ongoing support of production applications.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Ability to work in a distributed team, with the confidence to work independently as well as seek assistance and work collaboratively when required.
• A fundamental understanding of coding and an ability to work things out from first principles.

• Excellent attention to detail, and a desire to be proud of what you do.
• An appreciation of why design and UX is important.
• Experience with RESTful API’s  

Nice to have:

• An interest in other platforms and integrations, such as Chromecast, Android Auto, CarPlay, Alexa, Sonos and the like.
• Experience on other mobile or tablet platforms would be a plus  
• An interest in radio is helpful!
