## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\n * Thorough Embedded C programming knowledge \u0026 experience (especially pointers, structures, linked lists etc.,) \u0026 Assembly programming knowledge\n * Hands On Experience for Device Driver development with any of standard protocols such as SPI, UART, USB etc.,\n * Thorough knowledge and experience on operating systems and kernel\n * Thorough RTOS knowledge and experience (Mutex, spinlocks, Queues, Signaling, Events, Deferred function calls \u0026 Callbacks, Multi-thread \u0026 Multi-process environments, Concurrency Scenarios etc.,), Linux Knowledge, Kernel \u0026 User Space knowledge\n * Thorough experience of Operating systems, Microprocessor / computer architecture.\n * Strong analytical and debugging skills\n * Hardware and architectural knowledge / experience (Processor Architecture, Cache, interrupts, Memory barriers, Strong ordering etc.,)\n * Emulator, simulator environment \u0026 JTAG debugging knowledge / experience\n * Leading a team of junior engineers for managing design, development, delivery and execution of various projects through entire software development life cycle\n * Ownership, accountability, commitment, and delivery of project commitments\n * Team management, technology leadership, and representation\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n\u2022 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Master\u0027s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.\n\n10 to 12 years of experience\n\nNice to Have \u2013 Hands-on Experience or knowledge for Inter Processor Communication Protocol, Debug Logging framework, Boot and Crash flows, Heap Management \u0026 Timer implementations\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
