Create and maintain user guides, platform guides, API docs, FAQs, training materials, and release notes for Brightlayer, Eaton\u0027s cloud/IoT platforms. \n2\\. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with Eaton\u2019s branding and style standards. \n3\\. Collaborate with engineers, product specialists, and support teams to gather and validate technical content. \n4\\. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and incorporate user feedback to improve documentation. \n5\\. Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to draft and refine content, ensuring consistency and compliance. \n6\\. Manage content in Confluence, SharePoint, and Product Lifecycle Management platforms like Git, Enovia etc. \n7\\. Maintain structured knowledge bases and reusable content templates. \n8\\. Conduct quality reviews to ensure grammatical, technical, and visual accuracy. \n9\\. Apply best practices and continuous improvement methods like Value Stream Mapping. \n10\\. Build deep knowledge of Brightlayer platforms, IoT, cloud (Azure), and edge technologies.\" \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science) OR Bachelor\u0027s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing with relevant experience in electrical/software domain\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Minimum 3\u20136 years of experience in technical documentation, technical writing, or content development for software products, IoT platforms, cloud applications, or engineering-driven environments\n * Demonstrated experience creating API documentation, developer guides, and software platform documentation \nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments with software development teams\" \nProficient understanding of software platforms, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), and IoT architectures. \nAbility to interpret and document technical specifications, API schemas, architecture diagrams, and engineering data. \nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. \nWorking knowledge of electrical systems, power management, and industrial monitoring technologies. \nExpertise in documentation tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira. \nSkilled in web-based documentation using Markdown, HTML, and CSS.\n * Experience with advanced authoring tools: MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, Adobe FrameMaker, DITA XML. \nFamiliarity with docs-as-code platforms (e.g., GitBook, Docusaurus) and Product Lifecycle Management platforms like Git, Enovia \nCompetence in REST API documentation, including endpoint definitions, authentication, and request/response formatting. \nProficiency in creating technical visuals using Visio, Draw.io. \nExperience with screenshot and video tools such as SnagIt and Camtasia. \nWorking knowledge of AI-assisted content tools (e.g., Copilot, Gemini) and in-app guidance platforms (e.g., Pendo). \nUnderstanding of responsible AI integration in documentation workflows. \nStrong research and analytical skills for understanding and translating complex technical concepts.\" \n \n\n\n\n
