## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Software Test Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nThe engineer\u2019s role would be to support testing efforts for XR sw stack(Augmented/Virtual Reality) and adjacent technologies like game/3d app dev kits (unity 3d, unreal engine), connectivity (usb, wifi 6, Wifi 6E), multimedia(video, camera, graphics, audio, display). \n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nBachelor\u0027s/master\u0027s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. \n\n1 to 3 years of relevant background experience \n\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nResponsibilities: \nPrimary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation. \n\u00b7Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis. \n\u00b7Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools. \n\u00b7Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems. \n\u00b7Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.\n\n\u00b7Develop app/test content for exercising new features. \n\u00b7Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product\n\n \nThe Engineer must have a good understanding of Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies and multimedia technologies of Video, Camera, AI/NSP and Graphics. \nRequired Qualifications: \n\u00b7Experience working with Windows, Linux and Android. \n\u00b7Expertise on Windows and Linux OS concepts and tools \u2013 bat script, linux commands. \n\u00b7Expert in C/C++/Python programming \n\u00b7Outstanding problem-solving skills \n\u00b7Excellent communication and team working skills. \n\u00b7Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expected \n \nPreferred additional qualifications: \n\u00b7Expertise in Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies \u2013 6DOF tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, WebXR \n\u00b7Experience in testing applications/software on Windows, Linux and Android. \n\u00b7Experience with development of 3D experiences \u2013 games/apps using SDKs like Unity and Unreal.\n\n\u00b7Expertise in Video technologies - Video Decode \u0026 Encode techniques \n\u00b7Data analysis, automation and scripting \u2013 Python programming \n\u00b7Experience with image processing and computer graphics pipelines and architecture \n\u00b7Expertise in AI/Machine Learning technologies \n\u00b7Expertise in Wireless transmission systems for video and gaming applications and networking technologies \u2013 802.11ad/ay, 802.11ac/ax\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
