Our Potential Opportunity  

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Engineering Manager to join our dynamic Industrial Intelligence team. INTECH IIS applications are built on its proprietary Industry 4.0 platform. They help address operational, optimization, and performance challenges faced by industries, be it in manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical & process, food & beverages, or metals & mining. These applications harness the capabilities of artificial intelligence, machine learning, physical and knowledge modeling, and visualizations for analyses on real-time and historical big data.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers in the design, development, and delivery of high-performance IIS applications.
• Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and release.
• Collaborate closely with product management, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication across teams.
• Drive agile practices, conduct sprint planning, retrospectives, and promote continuous improvement.
• Identify gaps in processes or systems and proactively implement solutions for optimization.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and processes.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• 5 - 10 years of professional experience in software development.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in project and product management or team leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional engineering teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Hands-on software development experience in one or more of the following stacks:TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Python, GraphQL
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, API design, and system scalability.
• Proven experience with agile methodologies and team-based software development.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Location: PCSIR Society, Lahore (onsite role)
