Engineering Manager/Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities 01

• Responsibilities include preparation of Engineering DCI and MCI.


• Engineering schedule preparation and monitoring.


• Engineering conceptualization


• Provide inputs to Planning in generation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports.


• Review of key documents:


• Process Design Package that includes Process Simulation, PFD, P&ID, datasheets, design calculation, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safe Chart, equipment and pump sizing, line sizing, control loops etc.


• Equipment layout, Safety layouts, piping isometrics and GADs, Valve datasheet and GADs.

Roles and Responsibilities 02

• Instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, control narratives, PSV and orifice sizing, interconnection diagrams.


• Electrical SLDs, cable schedule, wiring and interconnection diagram, electrical equipment datasheets viz. motor, transformers, LCS etc.


• Mechanical datasheets of Process/Pressure Vessels, Process Gas Compressor, pumps, Vendor packaged items viz. Fire water, Utility water, well fluid heater, separators, WHRU, EDG, Deck Crane, Fuel gas system, Nitrogen generation, Instrument air, Diesel system etc.


• Review and preparation of Vendor TBEs for all packaged items.


• Review of all Vendor documents and ensure the compliance with design requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities 03

• Conduct Safety studies viz. HAZOP/HAZID/SIL and their close-outs with Client.


• Start-up and operating manual for complete platform including black start philosophy.


• Review of String test P&IDs of Compressor. Preparation of String test procedure and Job Safety analysis.


• Review and approval of all bulk item MTOs pertaining to Structure, Piping, E&I and Mechanical discipline.


• AFC/IFC document review and further translation into As-built.


• Pre-Commissioning checks at yard prior to load-out.


• Preparation and Review of Commissioning documents such as philosophy, isolation mark[1]ups, check sheets, P&Id mark-ups etc.


• Perform String test and Commissioning of Process Gas Compressor at yard before load-out. • Support Installation team with load-out activities.


• Facilitate interdepartmental coordination between various engineering disciplines to ensure smooth execution of the project, with adherence to cost, time, safety and quality.

Education Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering

Computer Software Proficiency

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint

Experience Range

• 15 to 25 Years Experience in Oil and Gas Onshore/Offshore EPC Projects
