Project Role Description : Lead a team of engineers that develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. Ensure teams are delivering engineering solutions on time, at the right quality and cost. Work across engineering specializations; including manufacturing, electrical or mechanical engineering, structural and stress design, qualification, configuration, and technical management. Assemble resources to deliver engineering or construction projects.

Summary:
As an Engineering Services Lead, you will oversee a dynamic team of engineers dedicated to crafting innovative technical solutions that address complex challenges and align with business goals. Your typical day will involve coordinating project timelines, ensuring quality standards are met, and facilitating collaboration among various engineering disciplines, including manufacturing, electrical, and mechanical engineering. You will also be responsible for resource allocation to effectively deliver engineering and construction projects, fostering an environment of teamwork and excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Should have experience as Windchill System Administration
- Manage and support the Windchill PLM environment inclusive of Windchill sandboxes, test, development and production by creating / migrating Windchill extensions using the Wincom EDK or alternatives.
- Manage Windchill Changes, releases, builds and pipelines across the PLM DevOps landscape.
- Maintain Windchill Business Administration Changes working with the development and AMS teams.
- Maintain & query Windchill profiles, access controls and participants.
- Ability to create reports by querying Windchill business objects.
- Maintain Solr indexing, preferences, OIR s, Publishing, Lifecycles, Workflows, Type & Attributes, Views, WVS configurations within the enterprises.
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning and support upgrades as required.
- Troubleshoot and debug run time configurations around business administration objects as required.
- Assist the release team, stakeholders and the business with run time backend query support
- Promote code through the various release phases of the Windchill platform as needed by projects and builds.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.

- Expertise in Windchill System Administration and DevOPs
- Experience with Java and SQL.
- Experience with PLM Systems such as PTC Windchill, Thingworx, WQS, Creo, JBoss web applications
- Experience with scripting tools such as ANT, Maven, Bash, Perl and Groovy.
- Experience with automation, integration and creating pipelines with DevOps tools such as SVN, GIT, RTC, Jira and Jenkins or alike
- Experience in managing sandbox, development, QA & production environments.
- Experience with Windchill design patterns & POM Models.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5-7 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
-2+ years of managing Windchill Business & Application Administration objects within an enterprise.
- 2+ years of experience in managing sandbox, development, QA & production environments
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
