Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage execution of EPC substation (GIS) projects from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure
seamless project execution.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor detailed project execution plans covering engineering,
procurement, and construction (EPC) phases.
• Review and interpret technical drawings including SLDs, layout drawings, and section drawings.
• Provide technical expertise and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of project plans, reports, and technical records.
• Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and cash flow; report financial status regularly.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal quality guidelines.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and scope changes to stakeholders and management.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Design, GIS, I&C, Manufacturing, Commercial, Site teams) and
external stakeholders (clients, vendors, subcontractors).
• Manage client requirements and technical expectations during project execution.
• Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Support vendor selection including technical evaluation, inquiry handling, and commercial
alignment.
• Track and report project issues and escalate when required.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, including critical path analysis.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Manage project closure activities including final documentation and profitability analysis.
• Perform material selection and technical comparisons as per tender specifications.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Hindi
• Expertise in preparation of Electrical BOQ for EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of GIS equipment and substation systems
• Proficiency in LV cabling, termination works, and related site activities
• Good understanding of electrical costing, budgeting, and risk assessment
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Experience in material approvals, testing, and site execution processes
• Capability to prepare project financial plans and ROI analysis
• Vendor development and management skill.
