Engineer/Sr. Engineer -Operational Procurement Team

• Complete knowledge and hands -on experience in import purchasing and global supply chain management (mandatory).
  

• End -to -end responsibility for PR–PO processing, delivery management, and supplier coordination.
  

• Ownership of OTD (On -Time Delivery) performance, supplier collaboration, and issue resolution.
  

• Ability to analyse demand vs. supply and take proactive procurement decisions.
  

• Procurement / sourcing experience from GIS Switchgear, Automobile, or related manufacturing sectors.
  

• Strong negotiation skills related to delivery commitments, along with effective communication and problem -solving abilities.
  

• Working knowledge of SAP / S4 HANA / SRM (mandatory).
  

• Strong analytical thinking and problem -solving skills.
  

• Handling supplier account reconciliation and regular follow -ups.
  

• Familiarity with import procurement processes, logistics, customs activities, regulations, and compliance standards.
  

• Exposure to Global Supply Chain, BIS requirements, and Global Trade Agreements.
  

• Good understanding of the P2P (Procure -to -Pay) cycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / related field. (Mechanical / Electrical)
