Job Description - Engineer/Sr.Engineer -Primary

Roles & Responsibility:

Review and finalise Bill of Materials (BOM) for the complete project.

Review and check detailed construction drawings, prepare checklists, drawings for site surveys, and provide comments on civil input drawings.

Prepare/review erection key BOMs, diagrams, and related documentation.

Ensure compliance with relevant IEC/IEEE standards for high -voltage substations.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of AIS/GIS substation equipment and components.

Coordinate with client and site teams for design inputs, clarifications, and approvals.

Prepare technical specifications for bought -out items such as lightning arrestors, instrument transformers, density monitors, cables, etc.

Review vendor drawings, evaluate technical offers, and support in contract finalisation.

Provide expertise in CT parameter sizing, LA sizing & selection, earthing design, and review of type test reports.

Participate in factory inspections and witness tests as required.

Requirements

Strong analytical and technical review skills.

Hands -on knowledge of AIS/GIS design and engineering.

Familiarity with international standards (IEC/IEEE).

Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (clients, vendors, site teams).

Proficiency in preparing detailed engineering deliverables and BOMs.

Roles & Responsibility:

Review technical specifications, contract documents, and purchase order specifications for AIS & GIS substations.

Carry out basic & detailed design including:

Overall Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
HV SLDs and bus systems
Earthing system design
Lighting layouts
Cable & cable tray layouts and section drawings.
