English + social science teacher

The Maths–cum–Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching English and Social Science concepts to primary school students in an engaging, student\-centric manner. The role includes lesson planning, classroom management, activity\-based learning, and continuous assessment to support students’ academic and holistic development.

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver English and Social Science lessons for primary grades in alignment with the school curriculum (CBSE Board).
  




• Use activity\-based, experiential, and inquiry\-driven teaching methods.
  




• Develop age\-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching\-learning materials.
  




• Ensure conceptual clarity and support students with different learning abilities.
  

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  




• Use effective behaviour management techniques to ensure productive learning.
  




• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem\-solving in students.
  

Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct regular assessments, grade students’ work, and share feedback with students and parents.
  




• Track student progress and implement remedial or enrichment programs when needed.
  

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
  




• Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators for planning and school events.
  




• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development workshops.
  

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
  




• Support school events, celebrations, competitions, and field trips.
  

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
  




• B.Ed. (preferred or as per board requirement).
  

Experience

• 1–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level
