We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at GSEB, responsible for delivering high -quality instruction to students across grades 1–9. The role involves designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with the GSEB curriculum, fostering a love for language, literature, and effective communication. This position is vital in shaping students’ foundational literacy skills, critical thinking, and academic confidence. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success, collaborative teaching practices, and continuous professional growth within a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver age -appropriate, curriculum -aligned English lessons for grades 1–9.
Create engaging lesson plans that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and reporting.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, teaching strategies, and school initiatives.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
Participate in professional development and school -wide activities during the scheduled hours.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification or eligibility as per GSEB standards.
Proven experience teaching English in grades 1–9 (preferred).
Strong command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and classroom management.
Passion for student -centered learning and fostering a love for literature and language.
Availability to work from ${starttime} to ${endtime} as per the school schedule.
