Requirements
Possess a deep understanding of routing, switching, and Cisco wireless technologies within large\-scale enterprise environments.
Design, implement, and troubleshoot OSPF networks, including area types, route summarization, redistribution, LSA types, and adjacency/convergence issues in complex topologies.
Demonstrate strong expertise in BGP routing, including path selection, route attributes (AS\-PATH, MED, Local Preference, Communities), and advanced traffic engineering and path manipulation techniques.
Design, deploy, and support enterprise switching and routing infrastructures, predominantly using Cisco technologies.
Implement and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, including CAPWAP, 802.1X, Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel, stacking, GRE, and DMVPN.
Apply in\-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLAN (802.1Q), Link Aggregation, MC\-LAG, STP, Multicast, and QoS.
Demonstrate solid understanding of NAT and PAT, as well as Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 packet headers.
Work with overlay and SDN technologies including LISP, VXLAN, GRE, and related encapsulation mechanisms.
Troubleshoot and support high\-availability architectures such as vPC, MC\-LAG, VSS, and switch stacks.
Configure and manage First Hop Redundancy Protocols (FHRP) including HSRP and VRRP.
Analyze and troubleshoot packet flow across internal and external enterprise networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Design and support campus and enterprise network architectures, including Core, Distribution, Access, Collapsed Core, and Software\-Defined Networking (SDN) models.
Support Cisco wireless solutions, including Cisco WLCs and Access Points, ensuring secure and scalable wireless deployments.
Hands\-on experience with at least one of the following Cisco platforms\- Cisco Nexus (NX\-OS), Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), Cisco SD\-WAN (vManage, vBond, vSmart), Cisco Software\-Defined Access (SDA), including fabric provisioning, policy configuration, and end\-to\-end segmentation
Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, routers (ISR, ASR), and legacy platforms such as IOS\-based 6500 series.
Good understanding of Layer 4âLayer 7 services, including Load Balancers.
Exposure to Cisco Unified Communications / Collaboration solutions such as CUCM, Cisco Meeting Server, VoIP, UCCX, and UCCE is a plus.
Manage 2â3 concurrent projects at the organizational level.
Work closely with customers, project managers, and engineering teams to design and deliver customized network solutions.
Collaborate with project management teams on planning, execution, status reporting, and delivery milestones.
Ensure adherence to network resilience principles, including availability, security, scalability, and reliability.
