Enterprise Resource Planning Specialist Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Finance \u0026 Operations Developer to join our team and lead the technical design, development, and optimization of a customized D365 F\u0026O environment. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in X++, extension-based development, integrations, and ecosystem technologies such as Power Platform, Azure Application Insights, Azure Services, and third-party system integrations.\n\nThe candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving a complex enterprise solution landscape with numerous customizations and interconnected applications.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSolution Design \u0026 Development\n\n * Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality customizations and extensions in D365 F\u0026O using best-practice extension patterns.\n * Enhance and optimize existing custom features to improve performance and maintainability.\n * Lead technical solutioning for new business requirements while minimizing future upgrade impact.\n * Create technical specifications, architecture documentation, and solution designs.\n\n\n\nEnvironment \u0026 Customization Management\n\n * Maintain a customized D365 F\u0026O environment with large codebases and complex dependency structures.\n * Optimize feature management, configuration, and code deployment processes.\n * Troubleshoot environment issues across DEV, UAT, and Production; coordinate with Microsoft as needed.\n * Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with performance and coding standards.\n\n\n\nIntegration \u0026 Ecosystem Development\n\n * Architect, implement, and support integrations with external systems using:\n * Azure Logic Apps\n * Azure Functions\n * Data Management Framework (DMF)\n * OData/REST services\n * Custom APIs\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and manage real-time and batch-based integrations.\n * Develop Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) that augment D365 capabilities.\n\n\n\nMonitoring \u0026 Operational Excellence\n\n * Implement and configure Azure Application Insights for runtime telemetry and troubleshooting.\n * Build monitoring dashboards and alerts to proactively manage performance and exceptions.\n * Analyze telemetry to identify system bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.\n\n\n\nCollaboration \u0026 Leadership\n\n * Serve as a senior technical advisor to functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders.\n * Mentor junior developers and conduct structured knowledge transfer.\n * Partner closely with business teams to understand requirements and recommend scalable solutions.\n * Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination.\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n * 8+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance \u0026 Operations development.\n * Deep proficiency in X++, D365 extensibility framework, and overlayering remediation.\n * Proven experience working in high-customization environments with complex codebases.\n * Strong understanding of Finance \u0026 Supply Chain management modules and underlying data models.\n * Expertise in Azure integration technologies:\n * Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Functions\n * OData/Custom service creation in D365\n * Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).\n * Experience deploying and analyzing Azure Application Insights telemetry.\n * Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for D365.\n * Ability to read, refactor, and optimize legacy custom code.\n * Good comprehension of English \u2013 verbal and written language.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Microsoft certifications in D365 or Power Platform.\n * Experience with Dataverse and virtual entities.\n * Performance tuning expertise across D365 environments.\n * Experience with testing frameworks such as RSAT, Executive Automats or automated code testing.\n * Knowledge of data migration strategies and Cutover activities.\n\n\n\nSoft Skills\n\n * Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.\n * Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.\n * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n * Strong documentation and organizational skills.\n * A proactive mindset with ownership of technical domains.\n\n\n
