Job Description:
Manager - Sales in the Loyalty and Rewards industry is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing customer relationships. This role plays a critical part in the success of the company by identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and maintaining a deep understanding of the loyalty and rewards industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients within the loyalty and rewards industry.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to identify sales opportunities.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to prospects.
2. Sales Strategy:
- Create and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities and prospects.
3. Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upsell opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations to enhance their loyalty and rewards programs.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
4. Sales Presentations and Proposals:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Tailor sales pitches to address the unique needs and challenges of each prospect.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and materials.
5. Sales Team Leadership:
- If applicable, lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Set performance goals and regularly assess and report on team progress.
6. Market Research and Feedback:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the loyalty and rewards space.
- Gather feedback from clients and prospects to inform product development and marketing strategies.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 2- 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Proven track record of success in sales.
- Strong understanding of loyalty programs, customer engagement, and data-driven marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Leadership and team management experience (if applicable).
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
