Job Description - EPM Support Specialist (Endpoint Privileged Management)


About the Role
We are looking for an EPM Support Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Endpoint Privileged Management (EPM) platforms across Windows, Unix/Linux, and database environments. The role focuses on L2/L3 support, troubleshooting policy/agent issues, enabling RBAC adoption, assisting deployments, and providing user enablement across global teams.

What You'll Do
• Provide L2/L3 support for EPM platforms and endpoint agents in production.
• Monitor EPM agent health, connectivity, and compliance; proactively remediate failures.
• Troubleshoot privilege elevation failures, policy conflicts, install/upgrade issues, and performance problems.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and support documentation; contribute to RCA and problem management.
• Assist deployment teams in rolling out EPM across Windows, Linux/Unix, and database environments.
• Support pilot onboarding, phased deployments, testing, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Collaborate with infra, DBA, IAM, Security, and application teams to validate requirements and resolve issues.
• Escalate complex issues to vendors such as CyberArk or BeyondTrust.
• Support RBAC onboarding, role mapping, and migration from local admin to least-privilege elevation.
• Assist with policy updates, rule tuning, reporting, and platform/agent upgrades.
• Develop automation for onboarding, policy tasks, exception handling, and reporting (PowerShell/Python/Bash).
• Provide global user support, training, and enablement materials for EPM usage and access workflows.


What You Bring
• 3+ years in EPM/PAM/endpoint security or IAM support roles.
• Hands-on experience with sudo and alternative *nix privilege controls.
• Exposure to CyberArk EPM and/or BeyondTrust PMUL.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix admin fundamentals.
• Knowledge of privileged access requirements in DB platforms (Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL).
• Understanding of RBAC and least-privilege concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to Have
• Experience with ITSM tools (Incident, Problem, Change).
• Experience creating SOPs, runbooks, and delivering training.
• Basic understanding of endpoint management, patching, or EDR tools.
