Job Description - Executive Assistant

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 5-20 LPA)

Location: Hyderabad

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to work closely with the Founder/CEO in a strategic execution capacity. This role goes far beyond traditional administrative responsibilities—it focuses on helping the Founder operate at maximum effectiveness by managing priorities, removing operational friction, and ensuring commitments turn into measurable outcomes.

As a trusted partner to the Founder/CEO, you will help manage communication flows, coordinate critical engagements, and maintain operational discipline across internal and external interactions. This position provides unique exposure to leadership decision-making, investor relations, and high-impact business execution.

Working closely with a founder who has built companies from the ground up, you will gain insight into how leaders:

  • Translate decisions into execution rhythms and operational accountability
  • Build structure and discipline in rapidly growing organizations

Key Responsibilities

Inbox Ownership

  • Manage the Founder/CEO’s inbox end-to-end, including triaging, prioritizing, routing messages, and drafting responses in the appropriate voice.
  • Prepare a daily executive brief highlighting key decisions, deadlines, important threads, and risks.
  • Ensure critical matters receive attention while minimizing unnecessary distractions.

CEO Attention and Calendar Management

  • Treat the Founder/CEO’s calendar as a strategic asset—protect time for deep work, reduce internal interruptions, and maintain meeting quality.
  • Coordinate customer discussions and investor meetings with strong preparation and structured follow-through.
  • Convert ad-hoc communication into organized workflows through scheduling, delegation, or closure.

Follow-ups and Execution Tracking

  • Maintain a structured follow-up tracker across internal and external commitments.
  • Track action items, responsible owners, and deadlines to ensure consistent closure.
  • Drive operational momentum by minimizing missed tasks and repeated reminders.

Board and Investor Coordination

  • Coordinate board-related activities including scheduling, document preparation logistics, version control, meeting notes, and action tracking.
  • Support investor communications by ensuring professional coordination and thorough preparation.

High-Trust Founder Commitments

  • Manage non-company commitments and engagements for the Founder/CEO when required.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Act as a trusted extension of the Founder/CEO in managing priorities and communications.

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)

  • Inbox workflows are streamlined with clear triage and response systems.
  • The Founder/CEO’s calendar reflects true priorities with fewer interruptions and higher-impact meetings.
  • Follow-ups consistently close without the Founder needing to chase updates.
  • Board and investor processes run smoothly with minimal last-minute coordination.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

  • 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Founder’s Office associate, or Executive Coordinator in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills and sound judgment on what to escalate versus manage independently.
  • High ownership mindset with strong reliability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • A systems-oriented mindset—someone who creates structure and efficiency rather than reacting to chaos.

Work Location & Hours

  • Location: Hyderabad (On-site)
  • Working Hours: 4:00 PM IST – 1:00 AM IST
