Job Description - Executive Assistant to Founder & CEO

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Location: Gurugram

JobType: full-time

We are hiring a high-ownership Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO (Founder’s Office) — a strategic, execution-driven role that combines executive stewardship, business analysis, and brand amplification. This is not a traditional administrative position. It is a high-trust role designed to act as the CEO’s force multiplier — ensuring his time, decisions, context, and communication are aligned with the company’s scale ambitions. You will operate at the center of leadership, connecting meetings, priorities, insights, and follow-through across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Stewardship & Operational Excellence

  • Own and optimize the CEO’s calendar, priorities, and daily rhythm.
  • Gatekeep meetings with maturity and strong judgment.
  • Prepare structured briefs ahead of meetings.
  • Capture minutes of meetings and convert them into actionable tasks.
  • Track commitments across teams and ensure timely closure.
  • Manage communication flow across email, messaging, and stakeholder interactions.
  • Build systems that bring structure, clarity, and calm to high-volume decision-making.

2. Business Analysis & Strategic Context

  • Sit in key meetings to interpret discussions through the CEO lens.
  • Translate conversations into concise, high-signal summaries and follow-up actions.
  • Review daily operational dashboards and distill what truly requires attention.
  • Identify risks, misalignments, and cross-functional dependencies early.
  • Ensure continuity across decisions so strategic context is never lost.
  • Provide synthesized insights, not just reports, to sharpen leadership thinking.

3. Brand, PR & External Stakeholder Management

  • Support thought leadership through LinkedIn content and brand-aligned communication.
  • Identify PR, speaking, and partnership opportunities.
  • Draft polished external communications and briefing notes.
  • Coordinate outreach to partners, founders, investors, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Represent the CEO selectively in professional interactions when required.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Strategic Assistant, Founder’s Office, or business operations professional.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional clarity.
  • Analytical orientation — ability to interpret dashboards, data, and operational signals.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and trustworthiness.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and obsessed with follow-through.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs before they are articulated.
  • Calm under pressure with strong situational awareness.
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and high accountability environments.
  • Service mindset combined with sharp business thinking.
