Job Description - Executive | Business Development


We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Sustainability Advisory and Environmental Services business. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in B2B sales/business development and possess a strong willingness to learn the technical aspects of sustainability services, including ESG, Carbon Management, Biodiversity, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), EPDs, and Climate Action solutions.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with industry leaders and contribute to advancing sustainability initiatives across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities  

Business Development & Sales  



  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold outreach, and referrals.


  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.


  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with key decision-makers across industries.


  • Support lead qualification, opportunity assessment, and client engagement activities.


  • Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and existing clients.


  • Assist in achieving monthly and annual business development targets.


Proposal & Commercial Support  



  • Coordinate with internal technical teams for preparation of proposals and presentations.


  • Support proposal submissions, commercial discussions, and contract documentation.


  • Track proposal status and follow up for client feedback.


Market Intelligence  



  • Monitor industry trends, sustainability regulations, and emerging business opportunities.


  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify potential target sectors and accounts.


  • Maintain databases of prospects, clients, and market information.


CRM & Reporting  



  • Update and manage sales activities through CRM systems.


  • Prepare periodic sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development dashboards.


  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and conversion metrics.








Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sustainability, or a related field.


  • 1–2 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition


  • Experience in B2B sales and corporate client engagement is preferred.


  • Prior exposure to consulting, sustainability, environmental services, or industrial sectors will be an added advantage.
