Job Summary:

The Demand and Inventory Planning role supports the planning and management of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, minimize costs, and meet customer demand. The responsibilities include analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with various teams to maintain accurate demand forecasts and inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.

• Utilize Excel functions like VLOOKUP and SUMIF to analyze data and generate insights.

• Support the preparation of weekly and monthly inventory reports for management review.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance demand and inventory planning accuracy.

Skill Requirements:

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting data-driven insights.

• Excel Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Excel, including the ability to use functions like VLOOKUP and SUMIF for data analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related role.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
