PIXM Visual Effects is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to lead business development efforts and help secure new visual effects projects for the studio. This role is responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and overseeing the strategic planning of productions from project acquisition through delivery.
The Executive Producer acts as the primary bridge between clients and the studio, ensuring that creative goals, production expectations, and project timelines are clearly aligned. This position requires strong industry connections, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the visual effects production pipeline.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of bringing projects into studios and managing client relationships while collaborating closely with production teams to ensure successful project execution.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with film studios, production houses, and content creators to secure new VFX projects.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue potential partnerships and productions.
• Lead project bidding processes and collaborate with production teams to develop accurate project estimates and schedules.
• Negotiate project terms, contracts, and production agreements with clients and partners.
• Represent the studio in client meetings, industry events, and project discussions.
• Work closely with producers and production managers to ensure projects are planned and executed effectively.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure productions remain aligned with financial targets.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide strategic direction to production teams to ensure projects meet both creative and operational goals.
• Support studio leadership in expanding the company’s presence within the VFX industry.
Requirements
• Approximately 12–18 years of experience in visual effects production, film production, or related media industries.
• Proven experience securing projects or managing client relationships within the VFX or film production industry.
• Strong understanding of visual effects pipelines and production workflows.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating production contracts and managing project budgets.
• Strong network of contacts within the film, television, or digital media production industry.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship -building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with production tracking systems such as Autodesk Flow Production Tracking and project planning tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with major studios, production companies, or streaming platforms.
• Experience overseeing high -end visual effects projects for film, television, or digital productions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop long -term client partnerships.
