Job Description - Executive - Sponsorship Sales (Sunburn)

Sunburn, is Asia’s Premiere Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Festival and is ranked amongst the world’s biggest music festivals. Started in 2007 as a 3-day music festival, Sunburn has grown to become an aspirational lifestyle brand boasting an eclectic mix of music, entertainment, experiences and celebration that has seeded music tourism in India. Over the past decade, Sunburn has brought together renowned International and Indian artists to entertain hundreds of thousands of dance music lovers across the country and overseas and positioned India as a prime dance festival destination to the world. 


 


The Sunburn Festival, Sunburn Reload, Sunburn Arena and Sunburn Campus formats have enabled a wide geographical and demographic reach pan India and abroad. Sunburn has the distinction of having brought down to India the world’s top 10 DJs, including Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Avicii, Hardwell, Deadmau5, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Afrojack, Above & Beyond, The Chainsmokers, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Marshmello, Paul Van Dyk, Skazi, Pete Tong, Dash Berlin, and Nicky Romero. Sunburn has also made its successful debut overseas across Colombo, Sri Lanka, Kathmandu, Nepal, Dubai, Muscat; and Melbourne, Australia, thereby creating history to become the first successful indigenous Music IP to cross international shores. 


Sunburn secured the #8 spot on DJ Mag’s prestigious 'Top 100 Festivals in 2025' list alongside top music festivals globally. 


Role Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated sponsorship sales and client servicing representative to join the team for Sunburn Festival. The role involves driving sponsorship revenue, managing brand partnerships, and ensuring seamless execution of client deliverables across pre-event, on-ground, and post-event phases.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, experience in brand partnerships or events, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced entertainment environment.


Your Profile




Sponsorship Sales



  • Identify and approach potential sponsors across categories such as FMCG, alcobev, automotive, lifestyle, tech, telecom, fashion, BFSI, gaming, and consumer brands.

  • Generate sponsorship revenue through integrated brand partnership opportunities.

  • Develop customized sponsorship pitches and brand integration ideas aligned with festival objectives.

  • Work closely with internal creative and strategy teams to build compelling proposals and presentations.

  • Negotiate commercials, deliverables, and partnership terms with clients and agencies.

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.


 


Client Servicing and Stakeholder Management



  • Act as the primary point of contact for sponsors and agencies.

  • Manage end-to-end execution of sponsorship deliverables and timelines.

  • Coordinate with internal teams including production, marketing, content, artist management, digital, and operations to ensure smooth execution.

  • Ensure all branding, hospitality, content, and experiential commitments are delivered as per agreement.

  • Handle client queries, approvals, and reporting requirements efficiently.

  • Build long-term relationships with brand partners for repeat business opportunities.


 


Event Execution



  • Oversee sponsor zones, brand activations, VIP experiences, and hospitality requirements during
    the festival.

  • Ensure smooth on-ground coordination with vendors and brand teams.

  • Assist in managing opening/closing parties, artist integrations, and experiential activities where applicable.


 


Post Event



  • Prepare detailed post-event reports including photos, videos, reach metrics, engagement, and ROI highlights.

  • Conduct debrief meetings with sponsors and identify future partnership opportunities.



Your Checklist




  • 1–3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, event partnerships, media sales, or client servicing.

  • Experience in music festivals, entertainment, live events, or media industry preferred.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of brand integrations and experiential marketing.

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and proposal creation.
