The Warehouse / Stores Executive is responsible for managing material receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance activities to support uninterrupted production operations. The role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with cross -functional teams to achieve efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inward material receipt, verification, documentation, and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing.
Perform material inspection and coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality compliance.
Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in SAP, MES, or other ERP systems.
Execute kitting activities according to production schedules and Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements.
Ensure timely issuance of materials to production lines to avoid operational delays.
Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and physical inventory audits.
Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of electronic components and sensitive materials.
Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Planning, and Logistics teams for smooth material flow.
Maintain proper material identification, labeling, binning, and traceability throughout the warehouse.
Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures, safety regulations, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports, inventory updates, and stock status reports.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Commerce, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse/stores operations, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industries.
Working knowledge of SAP, MES, ERP, or inventory management systems.
Understanding of inventory control, material handling, FIFO/FEFO practices, and warehouse processes.
Knowledge of BOM, kitting processes, and production material management.
Familiarity with ESD handling procedures and quality standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem -solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory reporting.
Ability to work in a fast -paced manufacturing environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
