Key Responsibilities
1. EndâtoâEnd Logistics Coordination
â Coordinate movement of medicines from source to destination
â Track shipments, deliveries, and transportation status
â Liaise with transport vendors, carriers, CHAs, and internal teams for seamless execution
â Plan and schedule logistics to meet delivery timelines
2. Documentation & Compliance
â Prepare and manage logistics documentation including invoices, bills of lading, airway bills, shipping bills, etc.
â Ensure all documents are compliant with regulatory requirements for pharma goods
â Maintain accurate records and support audit readiness
3. Inventory & Supply Chain Support
â Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, and production teams
â Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies
â Support demand forecasting and logistics planning
4. Vendor & Carrier Coordination
â Communicate with transport vendors, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
â Negotiate freight rates and delivery schedules
â Ensure costâefficient logistics operations
5. Tracking & Reporting
â Track transit status and resolve issues such as delayed shipments or discrepancies
â Provide regular updates and MIS reports on logistics activities, costs, and timelines
â Support system updates in logistics software
Requirements
Required Skills & Competencies
â Knowledge of logistics processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance
â Cold Chain Packaging (beneficial)
â Strong communication and coordination skills
â Ability to handle multitasking and problemâsolving in a dynamic supply chain
â Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards
Preferred Experience
â Experience in pharmaceutical logistics, export/import, or temperatureâcontrolled supply chain
â Understanding of customs clearance, export documentation, and international trade processes (if relevant)
Qualifications
â Diploma / Bachelorâs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Pharma, Commerce, or related discipline
â 2â5 years of relevant industry experience (pharma / logistics / supply chain)
