This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for Experienced Developers (Application) based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a full-featured business application evolving from an early MVP into a production-ready platform.
You will work on a system that manages timesheets, payroll, invoicing, employee records, and core operational workflows.
The position involves improving system performance, building new features, and contributing to the future development of a mobile application.
You will be part of a distributed engineering team responsible for taking the product from early-stage development to a scalable release.
A strong emphasis is placed on ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
The role requires close collaboration on product direction, roadmap planning, and continuous feature enhancement.
This is a hands-on engineering position with direct impact on product evolution and scalability.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance application features supporting payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and employee management workflows.
- Contribute to the evolution of the product from MVP to a fully launched and scalable system.
- Participate in defining and maintaining the product roadmap and feature prioritization based on business needs.
- Collaborate in daily standups to track progress, align on tasks, and resolve technical challenges.
- Improve frontend and backend functionality to enhance usability and system performance.
- Ensure thorough testing of all components and maintain stable staging and production environments.
- Suggest improvements and contribute ideas to enhance product quality and user experience.
- Work independently within a remote, distributed team while maintaining accountability and delivery timelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience in application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Laravel (PHP).
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies and ability to contribute across the stack.
- Good design sense to support user-friendly and intuitive application development.
- Experience working on full product lifecycle projects, especially “0 to 1” development initiatives.
- Ability to work fully remotely with strong self-discipline and ownership mindset.
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and iterative development.
- Based in India and comfortable working in distributed international teams.
- Proven ability to build, scale, and maintain production-grade applications.
