Job Description - Export Ops Accountant (Zoho Books)

We are looking for an Export Ops Accountant (Zoho Books) to support our growing international pharma export business. This role combines accounts, export operations, compliance, and client coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have experience in accounting, export documentation, GST compliance, and Zoho Books, along with strong organizational and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounts & Finance

  • Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books, including invoices, receipts, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with the CA for GST filings, TDS returns, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Track receivables and follow up with domestic and international clients.
  • Coordinate foreign remittances and FIRC issuance with banking partners.
  • Maintain eBRC documentation and support RoDTEP -related activities.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, including P&L and cash flow summaries.

Export Operations & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain export documents, including:
    • Commercial Invoices
    • Packing Lists
    • Shipping Bills
    • Certificates of Origin
    • COA and supporting compliance documents
  • Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and courier partners.
  • Track AWBs, delivery status, and shipment -related issues.
  • Manage DGFT -related activities, including IEC, LUT renewals, and export compliance.

Client & Internal Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records in Zoho CRM.
  • Assist with quotations and order confirmation processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order execution.
  • Handle client communication related to orders, dispatch, and documentation.

Administrative Support

  • Support travel arrangements, conference registrations, visas, hotels, and itineraries.
  • Maintain contracts, NDAs, certifications, and operational records.
  • Assist in coordinating international pharma conferences and business events.


Requirements

  • 1 -3 years of experience in Accounts, Export Operations, Finance Coordination, or a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, export invoicing, and compliance processes.
  • Hands -on experience with Zoho Books, Tally, Excel, or similar accounting tools.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
