DGDM Architect (Data Governance and Data Management Architect) Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement data governance frameworks and policies.


• Develop data governance strategies that align with organizational goals.


• Establish data stewardship programs and enforce data ownership.


• Design and implement data quality monitoring and data lineage solutions.


• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance into projects.


• Provide expertise on data governance best practices and compliance requirements.


• Drive cultural change to promote data-driven decision-making.


• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data management or a related field.


• Proven experience as a DGDM Architect or similar role.


• Proficiency in data catalog platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).


• Deep knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.


• Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.


• Change management expertise to drive organizational change.


• Nice to have: Data governance certifications
