Visit us at  www.illuminatechnology.com   About the role We are seeking an experienced D365 F&O Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with a strong background in system architecture, integrations, custom development, and performance optimization. Essential Functions Define and oversee the technical architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance   Lead technical design discussions with clients, stakeholders, and development teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions   Provide technical leadership in custom development, including X++ programming, extensions, integrations, and data management   Architect and implement Azure-based integrations using Logic Apps, Power Automate, Data Entities, and API management   Design and implement data migration strategies, ensuring smooth transition from legacy systems to D365 F&O   Define and enforce best practices in software development, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for D365 projects   Optimize performance, scalability, and system security, ensuring compliance with Microsoft and industry standards   Work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business analysts to align technical solutions with business needs   Conduct code reviews, architecture assessments, and technical validation of solutions   Mentor and guide technical consultants and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence   Stay up to date with Microsoft’s latest releases, roadmap, and industry trends, proactively recommending improvements   Required Qualifications 12 - 15 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O technical development, with at least 5 years in an architectural role   Expertise in X++, C#, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps, with deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 technical frameworks   Strong experience with system integrations, including Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform, OData, and RESTful APIs   Hands-on experience with data migration strategies, dual-write implementation, and entity store optimization   Deep understanding of D365 F&O security architecture, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance standards   Experience in performance tuning, database indexing, and query optimization   Proven ability to lead technical teams, provide mentorship, and drive high-quality deliverables   Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert certification preferred   Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills   We are an equal opportunity employer.
