Job Description - Female Councellor required for a school in Kopargoan,Maharashtra - ( Job ID - 23500)

Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
Identify and address signs of emotional distress, behavioral issues, or mental health concerns through proactive assessment and intervention.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Guidance and Counselling, or a related field.
Professional certification or registration in counselling (e.g., from the Rehabilitation Council of India or equivalent).
2–5 years of experience in school counselling, youth mental health, or educational support services.
Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, trauma -informed care, and ethical counselling practices.
Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with students, parents, and staff.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast -paced educational environment.
