What will your job look like?

1. Formulate strategic and operational objectives and manage the forecast.
2. Serves as technical leader and mentor to team members. Accountable for monitoring the progress and development of Fiber engineers.
3. Accountable for project lifecycle E2E, while achieving project goals in high quality manner.
4. Works hand-on both technically and functionality in terms of engineering & monitoring of the Perform Out-Side Plant (OSP) complex projects in cost-effective as well as with high degree of quality submittals while meeting or exceeding all client deadlines.
5. Responsible for task management. Plan and lead execution of all tasks. Ensures effective delegation of all assigned tasks to Fiber Engineers team, risk identification, mitigation, and escalations.
6. Monitoring the team performance, analyzing monthly to Quarterly functional metrices.
7. Provide input to Fiber Engineering Manager regarding Out-Side Plant (OSP) projects progress: resource needs, costs, milestones, challenges, and risks.
8. Build strong relationship with internal stakeholders/customers, represents the team in the internal and external forums.

9. Provides high quality delivery of all assigned tasks within the required timeline.

Team motivation and new idea generation to improve team quality and efficiency

All you need is...

1. 6-9 years of Experience in Fiber network design engineering for an OSP/ISP.
2. Preferred experience with AT&T and added advantage if experience of LUMEN, Google Fiber etc.
3. 6-9 years of Experience in Fiber (OSP/ISP) network through work on at least one of the following areas: design, drafting, permitting, traffic control plan, pole load analysis, JPA
4. Experience working tools: Aramis, AutoCad, QGIS, IQGEO, ArcGIS, Waldo, Osmose O-calc.
5. Proficient in MS tools (Word, Excel Power Point, Outlook, Teams etc.) which is used in day-to-day work.
