FICO - FI/CO Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, coupled with hands-on experience in BlackLine and HighRadius solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficient financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and enhancing process automation within the finance function. This role demands deep technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business units to implement best practices in finance and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. FICO Functional Expertise:
• Lead the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FI and CO modules across multiple business units.
• Drive end-to-end finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, internal orders, and profitability analysis.
• Provide expertise in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
3. BlackLine & HighRadius Implementation:
• Implement and support BlackLine solutions for account reconciliation, journal entry management, and financial close automation.
• Utilize HighRadius solutions for receivables management, cash application, and order-to-cash automation.
• Collaborate with finance teams to optimize workflows, improve process efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
5. Process Improvement & Automation:
• Identify areas for automation and standardization within finance processes leveraging BlackLine and HighRadius capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, process compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track financial performance and operational efficiency.
7. Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to understand requirements, provide solutions, and manage system enhancements.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for finance users on SAP FICO, BlackLine, and HighRadius.
• Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams for finance systems integration and upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience (9–20 years) in SAP FICO (FI + CO) configuration and support.
• Hands-on experience with BlackLine for financial close automation and reconciliations.
• Experience with HighRadius for receivables, cash application, and order-to-cash processes.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering finance transformation and automation initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in multinational companies or complex finance environments.
• Exposure to other SAP modules like SD, MM, or Treasury is a plus.
• Certification in SAP FICO, BlackLine, or HighRadius is desirable.
