Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Field Engineer (Substation) with at least 2 years of experience in substation construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The candidate should be capable of coordinating site execution while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day substation construction and installation activities.
• Monitor erection of equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, and switchgear.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams for smooth site execution.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Assist in testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at the project site.
• Identify and resolve site issues in coordination with senior engineers.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in substation projects (AIS/GIS preferred).
• Basic knowledge of substation equipment installation and testing.
• Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and project documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in 11 kV to 400 kV substation projects.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
