Field Monitor

The Field Monitor will play a key role in supporting the monitoring of an agroforestry project by ensuring accurate field data collection, validation, and reporting. The role involves both on -ground and desk -based responsibilities to maintain the integrity and quality of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To do field visits to conduct participants’ interviews and monitor plantation survival of the agroforestry project (field operation audit).
  

• Coordinate with the data quality team and field team for planning the data collection on the field.
  

• Ensure the data quality of the collected field data is correct.
  

• Document Verification and Data Scrutiny: Review and validate data from scanned documents to ensure consistency and correctness, supporting data quality checks and finance -related tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• Willing to travel extensively to field locations and engage with farmers.
  

• Must own a bike with valid documents and a driving license.
  

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheets.
  

• Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox or similar).
  

• Attention to details.

Salary Range : 2.4 to 3 LPA  + Field Travel Allowance
