Job Description - Field Sales Account Manager

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients
Salary range: Rs 600000 - Rs 1000000 (ie INR 6-10 LPA)
Min Experience: 4 years
Location: Delhi
JobType: full-time

We are looking for a driven Field Sales Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial acumen. Based in Delhi, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, building strong relationships, and ensuring revenue growth across your territory.

This is not a desk job—you will cover ground daily, meet scientists, lab managers, and decision-makers, and represent Cambrian as the trusted partner for cutting-edge genomics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Visit labs, hospitals, and research centers daily to pitch Cambrian’s automation and reagent portfolio.
  • Account Development: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, understand customer workflows, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through consultative sales and solution-based pitching.
  • Technical Demonstrations: Work closely with the applications and technical team to conduct product demos and training sessions.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, production, and customer support teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.

Who You Are

  • Experience: 2–4 years of sales experience in genomics/molecular biology/diagnostics.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of molecular biology workflows (DNA/RNA extraction, NGS library prep, PCR, qPCR, etc.) and ability to discuss technical concepts with customers.
  • Commercial Mindset: Strong motivation to achieve sales goals and grow accounts.
  • Communication: Confident in pitching, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
  • Hustle: Willingness to travel daily across the territory and ensure consistent on-ground presence.
